What day is it?! That’s right, it’s Friday and it’s time for our Friday Top Five! If you are new to our Friday Top Five blog series, hop over to the very first one, Part 1 to start! It will help you understand our Friday Top Five and the fun we like to share here!
- This week, we’ve highlighted some of the best moments from our family vacation to New Mexico! We had to dive straight back into the grind this week, but we’re still reliving all of the fun and relaxation we had! It was so great to unplug for a couple of days and enjoy the most important things in life.
- And speaking of traveling, we are SO excited to have just booked a trip to Chicago! This trip will be a little less play and a lot more work, but we are both excited to visit! Neither one of us have been to Chicago (besides catching connecting flights in the airport), and we can’t wait to see the city! We’re exited to be working with the White Sox organization again, and we’re opening up a few family sessions while we are there. If you’re interested, we’ll be in town June 11th through the 14th – so let us know!
- We’ve been bringing you along on our fitness journey for a little while now, and we’re still sticking with it! As an early birthday present for Jon, we got some new gym equipment this week. We can’t wait to put it to use!
- Jon’s not the only one who got something new this week! Some of our great friends from our church small group blessed Paislee with an adorable doll house! She patiently waited all morning Thursday until we were able to pick it up and it had her hooked for the rest of the day! We even caught Brody playing along – with G.I. Joe’s of course!
- Like we’ve mentioned, one of the biggest things we learned from our vacation to New Mexico was that we need to make room for even more quality time together. This week, we carved out some of that time to spend with Erica’s Grandmother. Jon helped fix a few things around the house and we visited while Paislee raided the pantry! Grandma got her hooked on powdered hostess donuts and now she expects them every time we are over there!
