Exactly one year ago today, everything changed. We opened a letter that contained the document that made everything official and launched us into a brand new reality. It was a change we had done our best to prepare for. We’d taken steps to become debt free. We’d saved every penny we could find. And we set out with a dream in our hearts and a vision in our minds of what we would build. It was scary. It was thrilling. And somehow, it was a year ago!
It feels like yesterday that we started on this journey, but today we celebrate the official one year anniversary of Erica & Jon Photography! Yes, we’d been at it for a while as our side hustle. But July 27, 2017 is the date we received our approvals from the State of Arizona and officially started our new full-time gig.
It’s humbling to celebrate our first year, especially when we look back and recognize all of the amazing friends, family, and clients that have lovingly supported us on our journey. Things look much different today then they did on day one, and we have the influences of so many God-sent individuals to thank for that! Without you all, we’re not sure we’d still be here today continuing to build our business and chase our dreams.
From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU! The trust so many of you have put in us to capture your brand or your once in a lifetime moment. The encouragement so many of you have poured into us. The support has been overwhelming, and we truly can’t express how much we care for every single one of you!
So today as we celebrate our one year anniversary, we’re celebrating you, and all of the exciting things that lie ahead!
