What is a Lifestyle Photographer?

If this is your first time checking in on our blog in a little while, you’ve probably noticed things look a little bit different. Ok, a lot different. We’ve shared with you part of the reason why we made some changes, and what we mean when we say we are branding photographers. But what do we mean when we say lifestyle photographers? Lucky you! We’re filling you in on all the deets today!

When we set out as photographers, we knew one thing for sure – we loved working with and meeting new people. Every time we photograph couples, families, even different business owners with our branding work, we genuinely enjoy creating new relationships. After all, our goal, the one thing that drives us no matter what, is to positively impact everyone we work with.

As lifestyle photographers, we’re able to do just that! In addition to working with products and brands with our branding work, we’re still able to meet and serve amazing couples and families with our lifestyle photography! One thing we’ve noticed in our career as photographers is that most of our clients are wanting bright, joyful, candid images. The truth is, candid moments don’t just happen, they are intentionally created. And that’s what we enjoy doing most as lifestyle photographers – creating those perfect moments and capturing them forever for our amazing clients.

When we say lifestyle photographers, we mean that we photograph individuals like seniors, couples, and families! As two people who spend most of our time being known as ‘mom’ and ‘dad’, we understand the importance of family! We understand that life events are important to remember, because they most often only happen once! Whether we take your high school senior photos, photograph your sweet season of maternity, or capture your beautiful family, our sessions focus on making sure that current and future generations alike can be taken back to the same emotions you felt in the moment those photos were taken.
