Welcome to our Friday Top Five! If you are new to our Friday Top Five blog series, hop over to the very first one, Part 1 to start! It will help you understand our Friday Top Five and the fun we like to share here!
We’ve really been focused on being completely real about the journey we are on. And this week is a perfect example of that. Our ‘wins’ for the week weren’t booking another bride or landing a huge opportunity. Our takeaways from the week were the little things – the ones that matter to us the most.
- To start the week, Erica found the time to finally plan a menu, put in the grocery order, and have us set for fresh meals all week long! It was so nice not to stare at the fridge and wonder what we were going to throw together for dinner each evening!
- Jon’s big accomplishment? Well…he trimmed the bushes and pulled the weeds. We know that you are thinking… ‘that was a win for the week?’ But yes, he’s been staring at the landscaping for weeks now and was finally able to tackle it!
- We also found time this week to spend a lot more time outside as a family. Maybe it’s the 70 degrees and clear skies, but we were intentional to get outside almost everyday. We saw our kids having fun and interacting with other kids at the playground and making new friends, which brought smiles to our faces.
- Erica won the lottery!!! Ok, maybe not the REAL lottery, but it sure felt like it! She won $1,200 worth of services at a local spa! Here’s to facials and micro-blading in her future!
- We’ve had fun all week getting some final details in place for Paislee’s 3rd birthday party. The best moment was taking Brody to pick out a gift for her. We love encouraging that in our kids and it really pays of to see them get so excited to surprise each other!
Those are our highlights from the week, friends! Tell us about your week! We’d love to hear from you!!
