- It’s Spring Break!! Even though Brody has a break from school, it doesn’t mean we necessarily get a break! Even though we had a TON of photos to deliver, we still made it a week for a getaway by heading up north to Erica’s parent’s house in Show Low! We’ve been enjoying the cooler temperatures and time with her parents and some of our nieces and nephews!
- One of the highlights of Jon’s week in Show Low was the Bison hunt he was able to go on with Erica’s dad! Our family believes in being responsible stewards of everything God placed on the Earth, and we enjoy hunting to provide for our families. They were able to take our son Brody and nephew Cohen along for the hunt of a lifetime. They were successful and had a great time teaching the boys about being good outdoorsmen.
- Erica made a quick trip down to the valley for a fun session with Heidi Powell this week! It was a longer commute than we are used to, but was such a fun time as always capturing images for her blog!
- Both of us have been living it up having time with our family. We’ve been having nerf gun wars with the kids and playing hide and seek in the woods with full ghillie suits! We didn’t make it easy on the kids to find us, that’s for sure!
- We enjoyed beautiful weather during our Spring Break trip to Show Low! On Thursday, just before we needed to leave to drive back down for a Friday family lifestyle photo session, we had a nice storm blow in bringing light snow flurries and rainy weather! It was the perfect day for indoor games with the kids and homemade soup!
