When we arrived at the ballpark, she greeted us with hugs in the player’s parking lot. He was riding an electric dirt bike with the kids in the player’s tunnel. Brixton and Wake lit up as soon as the bat and ball came out on the field and amazed us with their baseball skills! And we took a break from photos to chase the seagulls that were all over the field! Baseball is a full family affair for the Davidson family. It’s not just a game. Not just a job. It’s a way of life.
We met the Davidson family at Camelback Ranch for Spring Training and we were beside-ourselves-excited when they contacted us about family photos during our trip to Chicago! Julianne’s vision was nothing less than we expected! She had such fun inspiration for an on-the-field session with the family, capturing them all in their element! Matt Davidson is the 3rd baseman for the White Sox, so photos at the ballpark were the perfect fit!
While there was plenty of fun on the field, there were also some incredibly sweet moments with these kiddos and their daddy. Brixton and Wake sported their dad’s jersey and we loved catching moments of them giving Matt kisses through the netting behind home plate!
Davidson family, we had such a fun time getting to know you and your family during our shoot together! Knowing who we were rooting for on a personal level made watching the team bring in two back to back wins that much more fun!
