The first time we met Jacqui at her house, we were immediately drawn in by a beautiful tree full of blossoms in her front yard. It was one of those moments that we have as photographers where our eye catches a glimpse of something and suddenly all we want to do it take photos by it! Our hopes came true during the next session when Jacqui pulled out a beautiful soft pink polka dot dress and asked us where to take the photos! That tree was all we could think of! With a little behind the scenes magic to cure the sun spots shining through the trees (Jon balancing reflectors across branches) we made the spot literally picture perfect! Jacqui looked stunning in the soft pink dress and even caught a little Beyonce wind!
We also had fun crashing downtown Tempe for another day of shooting. Jacqui’s hot pink cocktail dress needed a sophisticated look without a distracting background and colors that would make the hot pink dress pop! We found the perfect spot with large angled white tiles that make the pink in her dress almost jump through the camera!
Jacqui might be a fashion blogger, but she’s not afraid of a good old fashioned DIY either! She complimented her off white summer maxi with her own straw clutch made with supplies from the craft store!
