We’ve told you that we’ve been using the TRANSFORM app for quite a while. What we said about it previously absolutely hasn’t changed. It’s truly been one of the most straightforward and easy ways for us to implement the discipline of physical fitness into our daily lives, and we can’t imagine what it would be like if we lost it!
One of the most beneficial parts of the app for Jon has been the nutrition. Understanding what he is eating, when he should eat it, and how to still enjoy food while being on a ‘diet’ has been just as valuable as the work outs. Jon loves good food, so traditional dieting has never worked for him. With the TRANSFORM app, he’s been able to eat – a lot! And the meal recipes and substitution suggestions have been completely eye opening. For example, using greek yogurt in a taco salad instead of sour cream is something we would have never thought of, but it is the perfect substitute!
So when we had the opportunity to photograph some recipes for Heidi Powell’s blog that will likely make their way to the app as well, we were thrilled!! One of their most popular recipes are the Moco Loco bowls. They’re traditionally a Hawaiian dish considered to be the ultimate in feel good food, so Chris and Heidi have their own spin on these dishes and they look delicious!
