In case you didn’t know, we pretty much love Arizona. It’s where we’ve both spent most of our lives, and the desert has our hearts for life! We especially love this time of year as the afternoon thunderstorms roll in! The smell of rain on the desert floor and the drop in temperature are our favorite! The next day is when you pay for it though, with hot and humid weather!
We’re so happy we squeezed in some more sessions with Jacqui Kruger before that summer heat came in too strong! While we’re taking a break from photographing her different looks over the hottest part of the summer, we thought we’d keep you inspired with these fun looks below!
When she walked up to us in this white jump suit, I leaned over to Jon and told him I’d have my eye out for the link on it in her blog! I’ve been hooked on jumpsuits lately – they’re a great way to dress up and still be functional when shooting – and this one wowed me! Jacqui looked beautiful and we loved how the look came together on the blue bench with the tote full of flowers! Side note: my dream came (partially) true when I wore it for photos with Jacqui on the 4th of July!
One thing we noticed right away working with Jacqui – she was born to host. From day one, she has always made us feel so welcome! When we arrived to her home to photograph her backyard table setting, we started looking around for the event coordinator! 😉 Then we realized that 1) we weren’t at a wedding and 2) Jacqui had put it all together! We loved how the look came together!
If you know anything about me, you know I’m not a runner. Something about moving my feet quickly and breathing at the same time just doesn’t work for me. That said, if I were to be a runner, I’d definitely want to be doing it in these shoes! They look so cute I’d probably be able to pull off my first marathon! We loved working with Jacqui for her athletic look on this bridge in Tempe!
