- You may have caught our story about this earlier on in the week, but we were SO excited and honored this week to participate in a huge project to support every single child living below the poverty level in the country in Columbia. We are super proud of our church, CCV, for stepping up and committing to support every single child in Compassion International’s program – over 11,200 children! In addition, we were able to participate by giving towards building 8 churches in the different villages the kids live in to give them a place to learn and grow! So cool to see people giving during the Christmas season!
- We continued celebrating the Christmas season by baking with Brody and Paislee. Now, you know we aren’t good cooks, and that is true for baking as well! So an easy rice crispy treat recipe is a WIN for us! Then we stepped up our game and make simple sugar cookies and had fun frosting them with the kids. And guys, we didn’t even burn them!!
- Erica had a super fun event this week with her girlfriends! They all got together for treats and an ornament exchange. Her ornament was a winner being stolen twice!!
- We are spending our Christmas vacation in Show Low with Erica’s family. We grabbed Brody from his half day at school and make our way up the hill! We are feeling so Christmasy up in the pines and the cold, cold temperatures!!
- What was the first thing we did once we arrived in Show Low? We got cozy and cuddled up to watch the finale or Survivor Season 35! That’s right, season 35! And we still can’t get enough. Go Team Ben!!
