Well, call us old time optimists, but we really do think there’s a big silver lining to this year many of us are overlooking.
And the reasons why we can’t see it are real.
People are getting sick.
Our country feels divided.
Jobs and incomes have been impacted.
All of the ‘good things’ in life seem to be cancelled.
All of those things can easily distract us from what’s happening in the moment. We’re naturally inclined to think of what’s happening TO us rather than what might be happening FOR us.
When you’re in the thick of it, everything seems to crush you from all angles and makes outside perspective really hard to see, but that’s what we want to offer to you here.
What if all of these hard times we universally feel are actually providing you opportunity?
We recently saw it put like this:
“Plot Twist: 2020 has actually been the best year of your life. You’ve faced challenge after challenge, but you’ve adapted and overcome. 2020 has force you to grow exponentially. Don’t take that for granted.”
How’s that for perspective?
Sometimes we need to take a few steps back and take a look at the bigger picture.
Yes, 2020 has brought extreme challenges for almost everyone.
But 2020 has also given you an opportunity to adapt, overcome, and ultimately GROW through this year.
We’re willing to bet that the things you learned in 2020 will help you achieve new successes and reach new heights in the years to come.
