Sasha & Austin’s Scottsdale Engagement Session

She got our number from her future aunt-in-law (let’s pretend that’s a thing, OK?). She texted us saying that she had fallen in love with our style and wanted us to shoot her engagement and wedding! She probably didn’t realize it, but that was an incredible compliment to us, and encouragement we needed right in that moment. They found time in their busy schedules and we met for coffee and instantly felt so lucky to work with such an amazing couple! 🙂

There are so many things we have grown to love about Sasha and Austin, and we already can’t wait for their wedding day. We will keep the details a secret for now so we don’t give anything away, but it’s going to be a dream to photograph!

Guys, these two have the best story when it comes to how they met! Sasha moved to Arizona from Washington about three years ago. Her sister worked at a local coffee roaster and beer brewery with this guy who wears a Jammie pack, likes to quote movies, and can do a killer Bobby Boucher impression!! If you haven’t caught on, we are talking about Austin!
Sasha had casually said ‘hey’ to Austin before, but there was nothing more to it. That was until she got a phone call from her sister inviting her to join her and Austin in CRASHING A WEDDING!! And she said YES! I don’t know about you guys, but I wouldn’t be able to last more than 30 seconds without cracking up and giving myself away! What better way though to break in your new home town than crashing a wedding and dancing in the reception like you own the place!

And it was all history from there. They are a perfect match and we loved witnessing the way these two lit up around each other during our time with them! It was a privilege to capture their contagious joy and as we laughed and quoted movies with them, it felt more like time hanging out with friends than working.

We can’t wait to see them on their wedding day! Who knows, maybe there is another new girl in town who will come and crash their wedding!! Here’s to fun love stories!
