Two months ago I flew back to Arizona for a girls weekend. For time to sit. Time to talk and laugh. Time to rest. And time to eat Spinatos, Taco Guild and Pita Jungle…twice! (Can I just pause right here and say that
Arizona KILLS IT with having the most delicious food). My trip was a short yet refreshing two days and I told Jon that I was not even going to bring my camera. I wanted to go and just be able to unplug from work for a couple days. But then I saw a post on FB that I couldn’t resist taking advantage of. It just so happens that on the same weekend I was going to be in AZ, a friend of mine and another fellow AZ photographer was putting together a GORGEOUS styled shoot!! It’s kinda like “photographer’s fate” when something like that happens and I just had to get in on shooting it. So I did!
Melodee Fiske, the designer and coordinator, took this olive grove inspired shoot and knocked it out of the park. The Queen Creek Olive Mill was the ideal setting for the shoot and all the details still have me wrapped up in the images. From the macrame back drop (made by Melodee’s mother-in-law) to the decked out tablescape staged with cheese boards and fresh bread loaves to the beautiful florals in different warm, muted shades by Moonchild’s Floral Co., this shoot had me in photographer’s heaven!!
Today we have the honor of being published on Borrowed & Blue for some our images from this beautiful styled shoot. Take a few minutes to take in all the of the details and get your week off to a pretty start!
