Phoenix City and Desert Engagement

You know that friend you’ve had since you were in the third grade? The one who you laugh with until it hurts? The one you have the best inside jokes with and can make you burst into laughter in an instant? The type of friendship that you can pick up right where you left off, no matter how long it’s been.

Michelle is one of those friends that Erica has had since early childhood. They have the best memories together! They grew up making home videos, getting hair braids in Mexico, starring together in a church play, and playing Donkey Kong on Super Nintendo while finding all the hidden levels!

One of Erica’s favorite memories with Michelle was growing up spending the summers on family camping trips. Erica always had a disposable camera with her (remember those?) and she and Michelle would find themselves wandering off into the woods for a photo shoot.

And that was just the beginning of it.

When Erica got her first DSLR 7 years ago, Michelle was gracious enough to be Erica’s ‘practice’ model. They drove all over the valley and slowly but surely Erica learned more and more about what she was doing with a camera in her hands.

Erica has always been excited knowing one day Michelle would find the man of her dreams. Someone who would be the perfect fit for her and appreciate the amazing girl that she is. A guy who would lover her and equally love her big family, because family is everything to her. Erica couldn’t have been any happier to wake up to a photo of a ring on Michele’s finger!

Jaimeson is the perfect fit for Michelle! He has the most contagious smile (just take a look below), compliments so many things about Michelle, and his shoe collection is on point! Maybe that last thing isn’t the most important detail about him, but trust us, it’s impressive!

You can imagine the emotions Erica felt when Michelle said, “you know you’re my photographer for our wedding!” From photoshoots in the woods, to posing in the middle of the street, and now to her wedding day – their friendship couldn’t get any sweeter than this!

Michelle and Jaimeson, I’m SO incredibly happy you guys found each other. You two are a perfect fit and Jon and I feel so lucky to have you guys as an #ejcouple! We truly feel honored to get to be a part of the most exciting time in your lives! Let the countdown begin for November 2nd when you say “I do!” and we get to celebrate your wedding day together as your photographers!!
