I remember Josh who sat behind me in chemistry class (which was one of my favorite classes!) and on purpose he would yawn back…to back…to back, just to make me yawn. Yawns are incredibly contagious to me and he took full advantage of it.
Everyday.
I was a senior. A 2007 senior with a senior year theme of 007 (cue James Bond), we gifted Highland High with a new marquee sign and we tried to prank the principal during our graduation ceremony. We were each given a handful of little legos that we planned to hand-off to the principal when we shook his hand to receive our diploma. The idea was that he would end up with a huge handful of legos that he would awkwardly either have to hold onto while the other seniors passed off more each time, or that he would have to find something to do with them in the middle of the ceremony. Don’t worry, we didn’t get very far with that plan before someone leaked the news and admins came into the class rooms and confiscated the legos before we even headed out for the field!!
Senior year is the best!! So much to celebrate and to look forward to and to plan for, and planning for senior pictures was one of my most favorite parts!!
