Guys, did you see our post a couple months ago about working with local life coach, Ashley Boyd?! If you didn’t, you need to check it out! We met up with Ashley again for another round of branding photos, and we really got to see her shine in her element! Our goal was to capture her during a public speaking event. Unfortunately, she needed the photos right away and didn’t have an event booked that would work well to photograph within that timeframe. Instead, she coordinated a mock event and had friends from all over the valley come to fill the seats. We had so much fun with Ashley, as always, but there were a couple of things that really stuck out to us during our time together.
We had an amazing venue to work with – The Agave Ballroom at the Saguaro Hotel! We absolutely loved this room, especially the back wall textured with felt wooly balls! The pops of color were irresistible to touch and we watched every. single. person. who came to the event walk up and touch them at some point during the day! The amazing wall aside, the most amazing thing about that room were the people that filed in to support Ashley. Past clients, friends, friends of friends who had never even met her – they all drove from every corner of the valley to support her. It spoke to the impact Ashley makes on people’s lives that they would be willing to take time out of their Saturday afternoon to sit in for photos! She truly makes a difference and has so much support!
Even though it was a mock event, we noticed something else that struck us right away. It showed Ashley’s character and her passion for impacting others. She didn’t stand and fake a talk. She didn’t fake reactions and we didn’t guide her through poses. She stood up, and went right to her flow as if it were a normal event. She took advantage of every single minute of the limited time we had in that ballroom to leave a mark on everyone who came. The room lit up. Strangers were sharing personal struggles and goals for personal growth. It was inspiring to watch.
