We used to take Arizona for granted…big time. We’ve both lived here for most of our lives and Erica is even an Arizona native. Naturally the shine wears off, the perfect winters start to seem like a poor exchange for the searing hot summers, and you begin to wonder if there is something better out there. Now, we’ve been there, tried that, and now we’re back in Arizona. But it’s still so much fun for us when we get to work with people visiting Arizona for the first time and see their reactions to our beautiful state.
The Amirault family visited Arizona from Edmonton, Canada. We’ve never been to Canada, but we know enough to know that Edmonton is pretty much the polar opposite of hot, dry, desert! We loved watching Amy, Dave and their kids take in the desert scenery. Their fascination with cacti and the desert landscape made us see it all through a new lens all over again, and we loved experiencing it with them! Oh, and the cholla cactus stories! We were bummed we didn’t meet before Dave tried kicking some fallen cholla out of his way! 😉
Harry, Lucy, and Evangeline have to be some of the sweetest kiddos! Seriously! These three truly love each other and we loved having them laughing and giggling in front of our cameras in the desert.
Amy, Dave and crew, we absolutely adored your beautiful family! We left our time with you all feeling refreshed which is probably a strange thing to feel after working. But your genuine joy and excitement at everything around you was contagious, and we only hope we were able to positively impact you in the same way. Until your next Arizona vacation, here are some fun sneak peeks to remember your trip with!
